| Product Applicability: | This certification is applicable to all LAN switches that have implemented IPv4 support. It is an optional component of the 2003/2004 Switch Interoperability Study. |
| Testing Overview: | The two switches under test will be configured for BGP – 4 and no static routes. The Tolly Group engineer will validate that no static route entries appear and that routing tables are empty at the beginning of the test. Thereafter, The Tolly Group will validate successful forwarding of traffic and will confirm that each switch shows appropriate routing information in its IP routing table.
An in-line analyzer will be used to validate the routing table updates via BGP - 4. |
